RATB communicates unconventionally with the students of Bucharest

The Autonomous Institution for Public Transport (www.ratb.ro) has recently begun, with the help of Motion Vision Communication (www.mvcom.ro), an unconventional campaign addressed to the young students of Bucharest. The campaign promotes the "ACTIVE" travelling card using an absolutely unconventional method.

From various points of the Bucharest map of transport, points that are near some important universities, an animated message that promotes the use of the transport card for students will be sent, via the option BLUETOOTH, to all those that accept it and that are in a 100 m radius approximately. Public awareness about the BLUETOOTH transmission in the area is gained with the help of visuals placed on the selling points for public transport cards.

"The Autonomous Institution for Public Transport wants to assist the students of Bucharest, active people that use the public transport facilities at a high frequency, by introducing the "ACTIVE" card and showing the benefits of the student subscription. We chose the solution offered by Motion Vision Communication because we are addressing mainly young people and we'd like to approach them in an unexpected manner, namely by BLUETOOTH technology" declared a representative of the Public Transport Institution.
